      It would be great to have mathematical input in product prices.. or anywhere with a number input.

      For example product a is priced at £10, if I type +5 in the box, it would return £15. it's something I'm used to now with other software like vectorworks and AutoCAD.

      Thank Drew.. I will check out using HTML formatting, it would still be a dream being able to use a kinder interface. Knowing now that it already accepts HTML formatting I'm sure it wouldn't be difficult to place a discussion style formatting box to these other text input locations.

      An easier way to make invoices as paid. We don't connect to the accounting software so it would be great to have a quicker way to mark the years of invoices we have to be marked as paid.

      Ability for different stores to have unique invoice identifiers.

      It would be useful if we could have customisable ITTT triggers.

      For example, I have our standard tool kit on the job under the 'production' group. But if I add some set it would add a specific tool kit for that equipment.

      Or I have 2 lights on the job and no need for a spare, but then the client adds several more of those lights and so I require a space unit or bulb. this can be automatically added once a threshold is reached.

      Ability to see a summary of the costs in the cost view, for example if I arrange by supplier, I'd like to clost the group and see the total costs for that supplier. A little like how group summery works.

      I've started using the services booking tools for allocating in contractors. It would be great to have additional views that flow easier on the eye. At the moment it's tricky to allocate someone to a job over multiple days with different call times and its really difficult to see an overview of who is booked in for what role on what day.

      A feature that allows you to set a commission rate on certain contacts / opportunities. or allow the discount to be a negative number as a work around.

      I tried to do a work around with surcharges.. It didn't work..

      It would also be great to have rich text formatting in the description section. I want to use this to produce advance document information but currently I cant format it how I'd like.

        We updated the servers today so that now you can grab the latest product and service costs and prices 🔄

        As mentioned previously, refreshing accessory configuration and is a much larger task so we’ll keep monitoring feedback on this here and in our other customer channels. If it’s proving popular, we can look to put some dev resource behind it.

        Thanks for the update Michael. I can see how it might be quite a challenge to have certain accessories updated.

        Can I ask how it works when cloning a job?
        For instance year one we notice a mandatory accessory is missing from the list, which we attached to the product after that job. Next year when we clone the job, will the mandatory accessory be pulled in to the new list?

        If it's easy enough for the Dev team it might be worth making it so that all mandatory accessories, components and safety items are pulled in automatically.

        Then later down the line creating a feature that allows you to re select the default and optional accessories, components and safety items (which I guess is a separate feature in it's own right).

          It's also not ideal as the product will show as a shortage until it has been moved across.. I like your work around though!

            How about the ability for contractors to have current wide 'accounts'.

            How this would work:

            'Ben' creates an account on Current on which he can adjust his profile which includes cost rate, contact details, PLI details etc. He can see his calendar with job details, with access through to packing lists and job documents. he can find his PO there which is pulled directly from that companies' account. he can accept jobs from here.

            This would be global so he can see his job details of any business on the current system.
            - He can also sync his google / ical / calendar with Current. for ease of use. -

            It would also mean, that we the businesses can see when ben is available. we might be able to see his calendar, much like we can create a calendar for bookable assets now. this could be restricted to busy / free.

            Obviously someone needs to pay for these accounts or money should be made somewhere.. Imagine if current had bought freeagent instead of RBS...

            What is clear is with things like challenger banks and tech startups. People are very receptive to having all the related services linked in to one hub. Current could be the hub for all these services. They could be offering contractors PLI services, accounting linked with sage.

            Imagine, Ben could be using current as much as we all do. he could get temp acess to picking lists when he's bought on a 3 month contract. He could submit his expenses through current which would go on the job.

            Big thinking here, but I mean we're all awaiting the current revolution to a formidable service.

              I like this idea, I just have no more votes to use! (which is terribly irritating)

              I want to use the description box to add information on the job which is then pulled in to an advance breifing document for crew but without rich formatting it will look pretty rubbish.

                  Doesn't everyone use a RMS tool? I quite like the fact people know, we already support the brand financially so might as well endorse it too!

                    Thanks for the suggestion. One thing that might help in the meantime are Default Service Dates on opportunity groups.

                    You can set up default service dates on opportunity groups – including copying the dates from the scheduler. Once you’ve set these dates, any services that you add the group automatically default to those start & end dates.

                    To do this, add an opportunity group and then edit it. On the next screen, you’ll see a section for the default service dates. Fill these in using the date fields, or click the green “copy from schedule” button to fill them in using dates from the scheduler.

                    This would be great - We add separate lines for delivery and collection, much easier if these could take the information I've already inputted to the opportunity.

                      Yes and the dates too. Services work badly when cloning. One pop up could save heaps of hassle

                          Thanks for the suggestion, we’ll keep an eye on the number of votes on this one.

                          One thing that might help in the meantime is customizing your document layouts to include a date stamp. You can use this as a point of reference when dealing with different revisions.

                          To add a date stamp, the Liquid you’ll need is {% 'now' %}. Use date filters to change how the date is formatted.

                          Job versioning would be great, client get confused as to what version they printed, even if I name the file. I have to use discussions to track equipment on each version which makes going back tricky and time consuming. I could clone the job, but I don’t want loads more dead quotes on the system to come up if I search all jobs.

                            What would happen when things change and change? I guess the user could say okay I’ve read these changes, clear the colour till the next changes.

                              Can you create full production briefs with the html customisations? Would save hours of copying.

                              Typically that includes start time of each staff, delivery tome, job information, description and plans.

                                It’s a fair point, not man people need to see the total. Or some need to see different. We have dry hire and production targets, but there’s no way to filter that!

                                  We use Google Apps here at Current RMS so we can appreciate how fantastic this would be :). I have no update to share about this at the moment, but it’s worth noting that Gmail integration with discussions is something that has been under review for a while. This is something the developers are investigating for the future but more popular feature requests are priority at the moment.

                                    I concur with the anon below, there is massively valuable data in the system which I cannot access not least without time spent with raw data. I need this to be easy.. say I am always short of cable in the summer and want to know what i'm most short of in previous years.

                                        How come I have to check sale items back in, that does not seem logical as the item doesn't ever get checked back in to the warehouse.
