    Hello,
    In this time and age, information is everything , and reporting should be the essence of this system:

    from a Sales perspective:
    * filter sale reports based on time , client , product
    * reports for
    * reports for dead or lost projects (will need to make versions for quotes, so you don't add versions to lost)

    resources reports are essential to be custom as well

    Projects might be a good way to handle this. With a project , you can group together opportunities and generate project quotations or project invoices, allowing you to quote or bill for multiple jobs at once.

    In this case, you could have an opportunity for the ‘main’ option, and then other opportunities for the other options.

    On project quotations, this would show up underneath the first quotation, and we could customize the layout to make it clear that it’s an alternative. If the alternative were not needed, just mark as dead it to avoid invoicing it.

    Thanks for the suggestion, we’ll keep an eye on the number of votes on this one.

    One thing that might help in the meantime is customizing your document layouts to include a date stamp. You can use this as a point of reference when dealing with different revisions.

    To add a date stamp, the Liquid you’ll need is {% 'now' %}. Use date filters to change how the date is formatted.

    Don’t forget the daily summary email contains a handy reminder of any activities due today. Turn it on by heading to your user profile and toggling daily summary email to YES.

    Also, for participants to see only activities they are involved in only , it can get messy between sales and warehouse , for it to have decent CRM

    Thanks to everyone for taking the time to vote and comment here, we appreciate the feedback :)

    Just a quick update: we’ve added some new role options that you might find useful. You can now choose which functions on the opportunity detail view your team members can access, meaning your warehouse team won’t need permission to edit an opportunity to prep kit.

    Creating a custom view in Opportunities is a great way of getting a list of jobs for the warehouse team. Use the “waiting for prep” filter to include jobs that need your team’s attention.
