  1. Keyboard Shortcut for SHOW PICKER

    When you have say 40 odd items on a quote and you want to add more you have to scroll back up to the top to click on the SHOW PICKER icon.
    It would also be nice if the window scrolled along as you are adding items

  3. Make it easier to set items to sub-hire in Opportunities

    When I have a job, I might decide to then set lots of items to subhire. At the moment the process is really convoluted, unlike adjusting any of the other line items.

    A simple way to make this work might be to set as subhire when the quanity figure is changed to [1], just like is displays if there is a subhire already set?

  4. Hide accessories in opportunity detail view

    In opportunities when you switch to detaled view it would be nice if you could have a compact view without the accessorys displayed.
    Good when you have kits already packed and you just tick off that case

  5. Add venue contacts.

    We'd like to be able to assign a contact to a venue the same way we do with an organisation.
    The venues often have a team of sales staff for events so would be handy to link to the correct team member.

    We’ve just updated the servers with this change and will be updating the documentation shortly.

  6. Add Payments and choose Payment Methods / Type - within Current-RMS

    Ability to choose a payment method, ie cash, card, BACs, PayPal etc within Current-RMS and this to sync to Xero and mark invoice as paid.

    Sync = > date > payment method > = Xero

  7. Move stock items between stores

    It would be useful to be able to change the store the stock was in, If it moves stores I currently have to delete the stock item and re-enter the details.

  8. Discussion subject should default to job name and number

    When creating a discussion, the subject should always default to the Job name and number. This will help our clients track their quotes and invoices better using their email subject search.

  9. Attach ammended quote versions to discussion

    The system doesn't appear to track or ammend versions of opportunities ? IE: Quote number 654 might changed 8 different times before the client accepts but there is no "V2, V3" etc appendage and unless I'm missing something, I need to start a new discussion for every change on the quote rather than continuing the initial discussion but including the updated version of the quote ? Have I missed something here ? Thanks

  10. Profit & Costings for an opportunity

    The ability to add costs to an opportunity would be great so for example the sub-rented item has a hire in cost or a free text item has a cost to it for example a stage set would require materials that you can put the cost in for them.

    This would enable you to see the profit margin of all opportunities not just the charge.

  11. Discussion signatures and templates

    [In the context of sending email to customers] pre-written standard message text could be selected from a drop-down list to speed-up this process (ability to insert multiple times would allow compilation of longer/specific messages). eg "Thank you for your enquiry... | Here is your quotation... | Click on the link below to see your Rental Agreement...".

    Can the participants from the Opportunity be included automatically? Its quicker to delete them than manually searching for them.

    Could the Discussion that is created inherit the Name of the Opportunity by default (again easier to edit here if necessary, rather than typing every…

  12. 'Smart date picker'

    When creating a custom view, I'd like to be able to choose to see opportunities relative to a date, ideally a 'smart date' such as used in the Activity page.

    In context, a custom display could be created to show 'Un-invoiced' 'Orders' 'this week' (or 'next week' etc.). It would mean that it would be easy for orders to be confirmed but only invoiced the week before the event.

  13. Reserve products in quotation stage

    When we make a quote to a customer we normally reserve the products for some time to prevent disappointment when finally ordering, it would be nice to have a button in quotation stage to do and undo actual reservation of the products, this may be automated with the expiry date of the quotation.

    We’ve added two new quotation statuses to help you better manage your staff and stock planning: provisional and reserved quotations.

    Mark a quotation as provisional to start pencilling in assets and bookable resources. Provisional allocations aren’t taken out of availability, they’re marked as “quoted for” like open quotations.

    If you’re confident that a quotation is going to go ahead, fully reserve the products or services by marking it as reserved. When you do this, availability figures are adjusted for your products and services, as well as any provisional allocations of services or assets. Shortages are highlighted in red, so you can troubleshoot them straight away.

  14. Item Group Discount

    Item Group Discount i.e change a whole group discount in one go. example Lighting group 30% Sound Group 40% instead of having to change every resource item line.

  15. Creating Kits/Permanent Case Assigning

    Hello. It would be useful for me to have a way of cases automatically being signed to jobs and to have the ability to make a kit of products that are always rented together. Eg; If a certain set of products always go out in a custom case then that case is automatically assigned. Or if I select a case (say a pre built rack) then on the job list it lists all the items that are inside that case. So the case items reference the hire stock.

    Our Serialized Containers update is now live! This is great for items that are generally stocked and rented together; e.g. radio mic racks, lamps on a bar, or cameras with components like memory cards.

    Once you’ve added assets to a serialized container, you can scan that container on the opportunity detail view and all of the parent items will automatically be allocated, prepped, booked out, or checked-in.

  16. Private & Public Accessories

    Be able to set accessories to be either Public or Private.

    Public accessories will appear on customer paperwork where Private accessories will only appear on Picking Lists etc.

    Private accessories are more of a thing to double check during prep rather than things the customer has a choice about. For example lanterns & safety chains, The customer doesn't need to know but who ever is doing the prep needs to double check!

    We’ve added a new accessory mode called ‘component’. Our default document layouts will hide accessory items that are set as components and have a zero price.

    This feature will be part of our next update.

  17. Quote valid until - preset dates

    Within 'create an opportunity' would it be possible for 'Quote Valid Until' to have some pre-defined durations based on the order date such as +14 days, +28 days or a date to be selected (as it is now). This would therefore reduce the detail needed to be added for 'everyday' quotations.

    We’ve recently updated the servers which included a change to add a Quote Valid For setting to the System Preferences screen. This number of days is now used to set the Quote Valid Until date on a Quotation based on the Ordered On date.

  18. Integration with mailing lists such as MailChimp

    I know Zapier is being looked at but to help with marketing it would be amazing to have Current integrate with MailChimp so that it pulls in the different marketing lists available and then we could specify which ones (if any) the client is subscribed to.

    When the Current client portal/web site api catalogue integration then happens in the future it could become a tick box for the client themselves to select when they are requesting a quote.

  19. Free scan/booking out items via barcode

    Would be useful to have a checking out system similar to the checking in page with a barcode scanner. Eg, when I scan a barcode it adds that specific item to a job and assignees that barcode to the Job to save having to input the data twice (selecting the item manually then applying the barcode to the job). Would also be good to be able to do a general search via barcode to find out what job an item should be on. Thanks

  20. View quoted stock in product availabiltily

    I'd like to be able to view the products that have been quoted for in the product availability screen without having to view each individual item.
