  1. Un-complete opportunities / Opportunities to NOT automatically complete

    Ability to 'Un-complete' opportunities. If an opportunity is completed there is no way to re-open it. I feel this would be helpful as its easy to make mistakes and close off a whole opportunity by accident. There should at least be a reverse. Projects on the other hand you can close / re-open. Opportunities should be like this where you have to manually complete them instead of them automatically completing when all goods are returned / services are completed.

    Opportunities in Current RMS automatically complete when all products & services have been finalized, but now you can use the new reopen action to un-complete the opportunity so you can update it, amend selected fields against opportunity items, or add additional items.

  2. Multiple Check-in for a Single Project

    Scenario for you, If a job has multiple rooms, which you would quote separately in the office, and prep individually in the warehouse, that was then loaded onto a 44ft Artic lorry tight. It all comes back and you have to check-in (for example 8 rooms) scanning things in when you aren't in the right room is a right pain!

    Is there anychance a project check-in page could be created? Then it should be as easy as quick check-in box and scan away!

    We recently brought the “detail view” button over to projects, allowing you to check in items from all of the opportunities on that project easily. You can access this as you would on opportunities, just hit “detail view” from a project page.

  3. Shortage message to link to product availability

    If I see the message like "A shortage exists for the service "Delivery" between 26/04/2016 11:00 and 26/04/2016 12:00" I would like to click on it and to get to the field I need to ammend. Or to see the advice what to do next

  4. Opportunity Internal descriptions available to CREW ical feeds

    It would be brilliant if the service booking ical feeds included (in addition to the location you already have in there) either the internal description of the order, or the services description section. This is already offered in the orders ical feed, but would help us massively if you could also build this into the service booking ical feeds as we store important information in those sections that as of now we have to send as a separate email to our crew members.

  5. Quote expiry date viewable from opportunities screen

    It would be great if on the main page we view the list of quotes currently open that there is a column that shows the expiry date of the quote. There is a start and end date, just need somewhere in there to see the expiry date rather than having to click into a quote to see that.

    A custom view is the perfect way to achieve this. Custom views let you see and sort the data in your Current RMS system, allowing you to create your own tables of information.

    The “Quote Valid Until” date is available as an attribute for custom views, so you can create a table with this as a column.

    It’s also available as filter criteria, so you can create a view that shows you all quotations expiring this week, month, or in another date range.

  6. Services Picker

    Much like the product picker is it possible to create a picker or a selectable so you can list your services or include services in the current product picker
    Currently your having to remember the service names. i.e. AV technician, audio technician, LWB Van etc......

  7. Assign People to Services while still at quote stage

    With the new services module it would be great to have the ability to assign a person to each crew role while it is still at the quote stage before it becomes an order.

    So the option to pencil people to the role and then confirm etc once it is an order.

    We often have to pencil crew well in advance of the opportunity getting confirmed and becoming an order so this is vital for us to be able to plan crew bookings.

    Also the ability to issue job details and POs to the confirm crew would be great.

    Thanks to everyone for taking the time to comment and vote on this! We’ve added two new quotation statuses to help you better manage your staff and stock planning: provisional and reserved quotations.

    Mark a quotation as provisional to start pencilling in bookable resources. Provisional allocations aren’t taken out of availability, they’re marked as “quoted for” like open quotations. Provisional bookings show up on the job planner in gray.

    If you’re confident that a quotation is going to go ahead, fully reserve the products or services by marking it as reserved. When you do this, availability figures are adjusted for your products and services, as well as any provisional allocations of services or assets.

  8. Print address directly from People & Organizations

    Sometimes you just have to print an address able without relation to job or task, so it would be great if we can print adress directly from Adress record

  9. Show inactive opportunities in the default view

    Opportunities Page should show *all* opportunities (including completed ones) by default, and just grey-out the completed ones at the bottom of the list.

  11. add weekday to data format

    in the opportunity module a lot a dates are displayed, to make planning en understanding of those dates easier it would be nice if a short indication of the weekday can be displayed in front like MO, FR, etc.

  12. When adding a service, you should be able to add a bookable resource from that screen

    when adding a new SERVICE you should be able to add/ edit bookable resources instead of having to go into each contact individually to add a service to them.
    when you click on a service it would be good to edit the list of people suitable and see a list of all people or resources that then the user can cherry pick suitable resources to add.

  13. Add an order number after the job is complete

    It would be useful to be able to add an order number after the job has been completed as not all clients have the order number at time of the job.

  14. Import existing Xero contacts

    Currently we need to create a contact, then select a Xero contact to sync it with. It would be better to have an option to import an existing Xero contact without creating a new one.

  15. Calendar feeds include custom descriptions and venue locations

    It would be very helpful for us to be able to send out calendar feeds to our freelancers with information such as an equipment list and a "description" section where we can write in an event timeline and venue location for them. Right now we're still tied to using our existing company google calendar for event timelines, but would love to be able to keep everything within Current.

  17. Generate new iCal feed URL

    In the unfortunate event an account is compromised, it would be nice if the iCal feed URL could be refreshed to a new URL to eliminate the possibility of others having access to it.

    Great idea. We encourage you to keep your iCal feed link as safe as your password. If you’re worried that one of your users might have shared your links with someone that they shouldn’t have, now you can reset them in System Setup > Users.

  18. Report to show all free text items

    Would it be possible to have a report that returns a list of fee text opportunity items on active quotes/bookings and a link to the booking?

    We quite often add products onto opportunities as free text for certain reasons but then find it difficult to find these later one

  20. Add "create new contact" on create new organisation page, and vice versa

    When creating a new organisation, please add a create new contact after add existing contact, and similar in create new contact for new organisation. Only been using the software a week and this seems glaringly obvious omission.

    Once you’ve created your new organisation, hit “Create new contact” under the Contacts heading on the left to create a new contact linked to this organisation. All of the organisation’s details will be pulled through to the new contact page for you so you don’t need to re-type addresses or telephone numbers that might be the same.
