    Freeze headings and asset scan box at the top of the page in the detailed view for allocating/prepping/checking in, so that you can scroll down the list of items and still see that the cursor is in the blue box.

  3. Refresh cursor when you "add new opportunity item" (Set the Focus)

    When I add a new opportunity item and the pop up box refreshes, the cursor does not automatically go back to the Name box. You have to click in there too start typing.

    Can you automatically put the cursor in the Name box when it refreshes? (Set the focus)

  4. Allow exporting of excel/.csv of individual jobs/orders

    Currently you can only export a .csv of ALL your inventory. But what would be very handy is the ability to export an excel/.csv of an order/job/opportunity at any stage of the process.

    This has many benefits. The first that comes to mind is for Carnet forms. We use a third party company and it was just proving too difficult to modify the already existing Carnet form, so we have resulted to having to fill out their excel sheet.   5. record time as busy on all activities not just those created under user profiles

    when setting up an activity it would be good to have the option to mark this time as busy. I know this can be done when creating an activity under a user's account but nowhere else it seems. quite often we will have meetings or activities (like site visits/client meetings before a job is confirmed) that mean those involved can't be available to allocate out on other jobs.   6. Specify sub-rent supplier at quotation stage

    when quoting it would be easier to set a subhire in advance of the booking. there is no reminder to set a sub hire booking up after an order has been created so when dealing with 20 quotes a day it could be easily forgotten in the later stage

  7. Recall the location hash for the current tab within opportunity detail views when multiple users scanning

    We have several users scanning products onto an opportunity. To ensure that they aren't conflicting with items they need to refresh the page every so often. When doing this they then need to re-select the "Quick Allocate" tab and set the focus back to the Asset text box.

    It would be amazing if Current could use the location hash from the URL, e.g.: /opportunities/7?view=d#quick_allocate to automatically place them back on the correct tab.

  8. Add new contact from opportunity: put an 'add new' button on the participant tabs within the job details page

    I would like there to be an 'add new' button on the participant tabs at the bottom of the job details page. It is possible to add a new organisation at the top of the page, and if you're doing that it's most likely you'll want to add a new contact for the organisation too. It would be great to be able to do this without leaving the page and then having to go back into it once the new contact has been created. Thaks

    Rather than putting this on the participants section, we’ve added the option to create a linked contact from the Create New Organization screen that you access using the green plus icon on the create & edit opportunity screens.

    Just enter a Contact Name to create a new linked contact for the new organization :)

  9. "Partially Checked In" for partial return of bulk stock items

    Currently, if I check in 1 of 10 bulk items, the Status for that line is changed to "Checked In," even though 90% of the items are still booked out. The Status should remain "Booked Out," or should instead be "Partially Checked In"

  10. Flag quarantines to warehouse team on check in.

    If an item is damaged on site or misbehaving, the technicians using the item will normally add the item straight to quarantine whilst on site whilst it is fresh in their mind. It would be useful to have this flagged to the warehouse team when they try to check it back in (possibly through the use of a suitably jazzy sound) so the item can be separated and put in the 'sick bay' area for the workshop team to deal with.

  11. When creating a meeting with a client contact, make it link with all involved within resource calender

    When we wish to book a client meeting, client contact / users and book it out for several hours, - these individuals within this meeting are still available for work within the resources calendar. Any chance of changing this to make these people as NOT available ??

  12. Barcode for opportunity

    We want to be able to add a barcode onto our collection notes so that when a client comes back, we just scan this barcode and check in all the kit. I was hoping that you'd be creating the asset barcodes programmatically on our end but alas it's just a barcode URL. All it'd need to do is have the opportunity number encoded in it. Saves us typing it on the tablet as this is the only typing we have to do now for Check Out/In.

  14. Make it easier to spot (and deal with) shortages in the Opportunities view

    We have up to ten technicians adding equipment to opportunities. At the moment if they add equipment and create a shortage they get a nice warning message letting them know. They click on that message to get rid of it, and then move on. We're still short of items, but there's no indication of that in the Opportunity view. It would be great if kit that was going short was highlighted some way, maybe the font colour could change to Red?

    I forsee this becoming a problem, as each technician will assume somebody else is going to look at the…

    Thanks for all the feedback, everyone! We updated the servers over the weekend so that product and service shortages are highlighted in red in the items list on your orders:

    In addition, any orders with shortages will have an exclamation mark next to them on the Opportunities screen. To get an overview of these on one screen, use the new “Upcoming orders with shortages” dashboard tile.

    All of the document layouts that come with Current RMS are fully customizable, and the code that makes up our layouts is really powerful. A downloadable PDF of the Revenue & Costs Summary is something we can achieve using a custom document layout.

    To add this document to your Current RMS system, download this .txt file and then head to System Setup > Document Layouts and upload it. It will be available to print under the Print heading of your opportunities just like other documents.

    If the .txt file opens in your browser, hit File > Save as and save as a .txt file to download.

  16. Prep/book via barcode scanner

    You know the quick allocate function... that but for prepping/booking out items. It's a ballache to have to individually select what's been picked and assign them as prepped/out (and the select all checkbox is just asking for people to not pay attention to what's actually been picked!)

    Please can we get this so the checking out procedure can be as automated as the allocating procedure is :)

  17. Different layout views for pick lists / jobs

    I have been creating opportunities for festival jobs this summer, where we have for example 5 stages. i have been making groups within the order for each stage: Stage 1, Stage 2....etc. all the kit of all categories is then listed under that heading, so the client can see what kit is for which stage easily. it would be great to have some kind of toggle button to change the layout automatically to ignore the groups i have put in and snap back to listing by the category the equipment e.g Moving Heads, Control, Cable. that way the pick list…

    Our document layouts are really customizable and this is certainly something that we could create! We can create an alternative picking list layout that groups and sorts by product group name, rather than your customized opportunity group names.

    Choosing Accessories is now live. Now when you add a product with accessories to an opportunity, Current RMS will show you those accessories – including availability – so you can choose which ones you’d like to add.

    This works in both the picker and on the add new opportunity item screen.

For example, it would be great to create a header called load in, give it the day and times and then use the picker to fill the roles. It would save me TONS of time rather than role by role filling the labor section on opportunities.

    Great idea! When editing an opportunity group, you’ll now see a “Default Service Dates” section. Use this section to set the dates for any services you add to this group, either manually or by copying dates from the opportunity scheduler.

    This means that you can work exactly as you’ve mentioned: create an opportunity group called “load in”, set the service start & end dates for that group, then add services to that group and they’ll default to the times you specified.

  20. Ability to edit customer reference after a job is completed.

    There is no way to edit a information of an order after it is completed.
    I don't need to change much but some clients send a PO after the job is completed. We store these in the customer reference field - currently this cannot be touched once you complete a job. It would be great if this changed.
