  1. Edit multiple service start/end dates at once

    Here is the issue.

    An opportunity has been created with multiple services; lots of different technicians or local crew etc. At some point after the opportunity has been created the timings change and each service needs to be changed to reflect this, this can also happen due to simply not knowing the final times at the point of quoting. At the moment you have to edit each individual service to change the dates. Often this can be incredibly time consuming.

    It would be massively helpful if there was a way to change the dates on multiple services at once, either…

  2. Sort order for Product Categories

    Product categories should have a sort order option. Our quotes always follow the same order, regardless of what order the kit, or crew, is added to the job. i.e:

    Video
    Sound
    Lighting
    Rigging
    Power
    Set & Stage
    Crew
    Transport
    Misc.

    Having to rearrange categories on every single quote is quite boring.

  3. Create a new product state - "Returned" - for items that have been physically returned but not yet checked in.

    There are several states for products before they become active - Allocated, Reserved, etc. - but after they are active, there is only "Checked in" or "Completed".

    I'd like to see a state - let's call it "Returned" - that indicates when a package has physically come back, but still needs to be checked in. There are times when we have numerous opportunities in various states of going in or out and it would be very useful to know which ones are in the building, and which ones are still out with a client (and thus are truly still active).

  4. Being able to set a priority number for products

    When you add a bunch of items that comprise a system, sometimes you want the hardware to fall in a certain order, to reflect a complete system.

    Being able to set priority numbers for products, so that when selected from the picker, they are added to the opportunity in a certain order, rather than just alphabetical.

    Eg. If I build an audio system, perhaps I want the control hardware, following by the input devices, amplifiers, then the loudspeakers.

  5. Checkbox to tell Current which line you’re allocating

    I would like to check the box next to the line item to ensure that the scanned product updates that quoted asset.
    This will be useful when there are 1) multiple items of the same type on any order 2) items which require swapping i.e. highlight a short cable and scan out a longer cable.

  6. Set rate quantity for services in the picker

    We are really fond of the service picker that is new to the mix, it works great. However if we want to add a service for a couple of hours, or just one out of multiple days that the job runs for there is no option for that. Is it possible to get an option to get hour or days instead of quantity in the service section? This to add crew for just a couple of hours.

    It’s great to hear that you like the picker, thanks for taking the time to leave some thoughts about it on our wishlist.

    Remember that you can use the service dates on the picker start screen to choose the dates that you’re supplying the service.

    Any items that you add from this search will be set to those dates – perfect for specifying that a crew member is needed for just a couple of hours.

  7. Filter job planner

    We have 3 main departments in the company, what would be great is if the production department could see a view of the Job Planner which showed just the events that the production department are looking after.

    This could be done with tags perhaps? Or alternatively we already use a custom field to view this data in the opportunity view, could the Job Planner use this instead as a filter?

    The problem the production team have for example is that on any day there could be say 25 opportunities but they are only dealing with 10 of them, the other…

  8. Clicking on an opportunity item opens the opportunity item edit screen

    I got the thing that everytime i am in my opportunity and set it together. when i need to edit the item (no matter if service or item or vehicle) intuitive i klick on the item name to edit it.
    BUT than it opens always the original ressource to make systemwide changes to the ressource.
    For me this behavior are two completely different tasks in the company workflow.
    When i want to change somethin in my system or the stock or something like that i want to to be forced to go to my ressource for make a clear change…

  9. Show group or item weights on the detail view

    It would be useful to show total group weights in the group headings.

    ie Job X has 7 different areas booked as groups. Van A is delivering 4 areas, Van B is delivering 3. I want to be sure that areas 1 - 4 and 5 - 7 are not overweight for the vans. Currently I can see that the whole job is heavy, but not what the groups individually total.

    Allow more than one discussion template to be used at a time.
    When we send out a new quote or invoice and start a new discussion, it automatically uses our saved and releveant template, (i.e. Quote Template). This is great but when clients respond or post comments in the discussion, we'd like a secondary template to be used with our responses, something like our email signature. Instead, it continues to use the same template that's applied to the discussion so all we are doing is deleting everything from the template first before we type a response to our client, it…

  11. Filter the resource planner to show only services that require an allocation

    I would like to be able to filter out any resources on the planner that don't need to be allocated during the given time frame. That way I can look ahead and see if any of the upcoming opportunities still need crew or services allocated. Currently I either have to check each job individually or scroll through all available services to see if any aren't assigned to someone.   12. Warning when discounting sales items to less than their purchase price

    A warning appears next to sales items when the discount brings the sale price lower than the purchase price. Preventing you from selling an item for less than it cost to buy.

  13. Option to default quarantine list to most recent at the top

    Everyday I have to go in and click 'start date' button to bring the most recently added quarantined items to the top.

    Surely most people want to know about newly damaged kit more often than the piece of kit that's been sitting in quarantine for ages (probably because it doesn't really need to get fixed).

  14. Create relative scheduled times

    in scheduling, the times are real rather than relative to the start date. I have just had to update an event to a new start date and it would be very handy for the scheduled times to update in relation to the start date.

  15. A status option in quotation view

    Quotation view will show items that are allocated and items that are provisional, but only in the group and field they are assigned. It would be useful to have the status function available here as well. I noticed that some items on detail view do not show on quotation view.

  16. There should be an option that allows you to force convert an order.

    Any quote should be able to be made into an order MANUALLY by force conversion. This could be an option that is only available with administrative rights. It would help to eliminate issues that arise based on dates, sub rentals, or availability.

  17. Separate sub rent from stock

    Say I have a product I want to rent, I have six on order but I only own five, so I need to sub rent one. I then edit the product in the opportunity to add an allocation of sub rent for one. It would make it easier for us if there was an option, so that once this was done, you could then split the product into two items in the opportunity, so that you have a row that is the five I own, and then another that is the sub rent.   18. Updated contracts

    I want to be able to print contracts out with an updated list of items that have been either checked out or checked in. Most customers need a receipt when dropping off gear that had been rented. If an item or items wasn't returned Id like to give them paper showing what is missing on the spot.

  19. Edit item box instead of new page

    You know how in the costs view you can click on the little blue down arrow on an item and select "set actual cost" and a box "hovers" over the current screen and you can do everything there. It should be the same in order view or services view, when you edit an item instead of it opening a new page it should just have a box "hover" over the current page and all of the properties you can normally edit are there.   20. Show date-time for services in Order view

    I'd like to be able to see the assigned date/time for services in the Order view.

    Currently if I have multiple lines of crew in an opportunity I need to edit each one to confirm that I have entered the date/time correctly and who if any is assigned to the role.

    This could even be a pop-up on mouse-over in the same way as a line item Charge total works currently.
