Catalogue printing

Because we have all already added our lovely pictures and information into current RMS it would be a good idea to be able to generate pretty catalogues straight from current to send to our regular clients with pictures and prices.

Thanks for the votes and comments on this idea, all. There’s no definite ETA on this right now, we’re working on ideas at the top of the wishlist and we’ll look to review in future. If this is something you’d been keen to see implemented, please do vote for this idea!

In the meantime, we’ve put together a quick guide on how you can use a Current RMS export to create a product catalog in Google Sheets – including pictures. Check out: Create a product catalog document using Google Sheets

@Sean Conroy: Not just yet, we’re still plugging away at ideas at the top of the wishlist. Hopefully our Google Sheets guide can help in the meantime: https://help.current-rms.com/products/other-tasks/create-a-product-catalog-document-using-google-sheets

I can see you’re subscribed to notifications on this page, so you’ll be the first to hear when there’s an update.

Agree..this would be incredible. Creating one exporting and manipulating is massively time consuming. Yes please Current team!!!

( commonly am asked for this, as a price list in anywise. With a check box for those items to bee included, would be a MAJOR benefit, whether in catalog format or price list. Critical is that its a customer focussed/Marketing tool

A price list for selected items. I often get asked for it, and have to manually manipulate other files etc. given the 'one stop software' marketing you claim, this is an anticipated item. Can you please create a 'client worthy report in the same fashion as Rental Data sheets

    Agree!
Tried to print off a Products page (Ctrl+P) but prints with no pictures. Full inventory list would be great.

Any Update on this? Seems to have been awhile... Seems like a fairly simple request. I am not a programmer by any means, but still seems to be taking too long!

Absolutely agree. When someone wants to see details of all the 'product type here', having to print out data sheets for each one takes along time.

@Michael - how did the "team huddle" go? Do you have a rough date for this?

  • Daniel Kenney commented  ·   ·  Flag as inappropriate

That doesn't really make much sense Michael. If the idea has been "started" then people aren't probably going to vote on it. So given it has been actioned for over a year for all you guys know it it could of still picked a lot more votes and thus be more popular than the other ideas...

Clearly from the below comments its a very popular idea.

Hello, Any update on this as I really need to release my new 2017 brochure and I don't want to spend hours designing this if you guys already have something that will come out in the near future?

Also will we be able to select what products or groups we want to include in the catalog? This would actually answer my question to whether or not I will use it....,

    Evening guys and gals,

Sorry to be a pain, Any update on a time frame for this yet?
Just looking at updating the catalogue for 2017 so seeing if its worth while hanging on for the integration from Current.

    Cheers

This would be a really great help and save us loads of time not going over what we have all ready done.
