Zapier integration, so Current-RMS can communicate with thousands of other web apps like Gmail, Google Contacts, many CRMs and much much more

We’re now testing webhooks for our API, which should excite our developer community! Webhooks are a way of pushing data out of our API, so that it can let you know that something has changed in Current.
Zapier lets you create zaps using webhooks as triggers, so if you’re a developer or technically minded then you could set up an integration with Zapier right now.
If you’d like to use webhooks with Current, contact us at email@example.com and we’ll be happy to give you further information.
Once webhooks are ready for primetime, we can investigate a more formal integration with Zapier. In the meantime, we’d be really keen to hear what kind of workflows you have in mind for Zapier. What kind of triggers and actions would be useful to your business?

use cases (pure fantasy);
1). Add/modify/delete integration for objects (eg: user, customer, asset, opportunity) to synch with ClockShark, RepairShopr, Laso etc
2). Sync between Wix/woocommerce for online store/reservations
3). Synching between our partners also using Current eg: being able to load their inventory into our system automatically rather than having to ask them for lists

Highly recommend zapper integration with current, this would massively help us as a company. Please look into this in the near future.
To be honest Zapier integrations usually always end up being quite limited. I would look into getting a developer to do the custom integration you need.
Very keen for a zapier integration so current can talk with gmail, our CRM and our website.
There are many cases that a zapier integration would be really beneficial.
For example, we would use a Sales CRM system for outbound sales, at the point the customer is interested, they would be flagged in the CRM and this could trigger the creation of the client in Current - even bring across opportunity & deal information - avoids re-keying details, saves time and reduces risk of errors.
Another example would be to use a web form to capture an inquiry that could then create an enquiry in Current.
Also things such as integration with staff rostering software, project management systems, web shop inventory, digital signage and wall board, SMS services etc

This would solve many of the problems i've been having - i get toe keep the thing that Current is good at (inventory and availability) and write my own User Stories for everything that they don't have enough bandwidth for.
eg: Repairshopr integration, Lasso integration, etc etc etc etc
Oh and did someone mention an iPhone UI!? great ideas!

With zapier integration, we would be able to control all of our product data via Current but map this accross to a wordpress / woocommerce site.
It might also then be possible to show product availability via our client facing website.
We would also be able to synchronize data between our Customer Relationship Management System, allowing any changes to be mirrored without the admin or human input to change both.

Zapier integration would be extremely helpful for our team - we are constantly trying to link our systems where possible. Zapier helps you find your way, easily linking apps without having to pay the cost fo a developer. With this we could connect Current to our CRM system and our website.

We do all of our development based on how popular an idea is on our customer wishlist, so we’d need to see some traction here before starting it. Keep voting and commenting! :)

We are currently considering Current RMS for our team and the one huge wish we would have is for integration with Zapier. It's definitely the future and would give so many the confidence to purchase Current RMS
Currently my website talks to Xero or Quickbooks using zapier... I would like to transfer it to Current RMS, and if it could I would start using it. I use a quoting program called Quotient which I REALLY like, but it doesn't keep track of rental inventory and as we are growing I am worrying about double booking things. Have any of you ever used Quotient - would love to see some of it's features in current when quoting... having a client able to tick or untick options, and have mulitple choices within the quote would be awesome.

A Zapier integration is something that we're looking at adding to Current RMS in the longer term. It's got 19 votes on the wishlist right now so we're focusing our development on ideas like Serialized Containers, Discount Categories, and Choosing Accessories which have a higher number of votes.
We do have an open API that you can use to develop integrations with Current RMS and other solutions and services. We also have integrations with Xero, QuickBooks Online, and MailChimp out-of-the-box.
Regarding the comment below from Anonymous we reached out to this user personally but next time, we'll post a comment on here about any responses away from the wishlist, as we do try to keep on top of all feedback and respond accordingly.

I was excited about switching to Current RMS until I see this. Customers begging you for integration and no response from Current staff here- and no Zapier integration after 2 years. Why have a customer wishlist if you're not going to respond?
