Put the customer's telephone number on the front page of each opportunity
Every day we have to click through to customer's records maybe dozens of times to see their phone number. It seems to me the only piece of blindingly obvious piece of information that's missing from the front page of an opportunity. I feel like it could easily be right next to the customers name under the title of the opportunity (see attached pic) and it would save us time every day:
- In the planning of a job, we often have to call a client multiple times to arrange details.
- A few days before the job, we plan our drivers route, and pick out various bits of info for the drivers (equipment list, venue address, customer name and phone number, etc) all of this info is on the opportunity page EXCEPT the phone number
- The day before a job, we call the client up to double-check all the details, again having to click through from the opportunity to the customer record to find their phone number and back again to see everything else related to the job.
Great time-saving idea. We now show the organization’s telephone number underneath the organization name on opportunities, projects, and invoices & credits ☎️
