Individual delivery dates of items

Current System: Fleet on the opportunity all gets locked to the delivery/collection days

Proposed to addition: Same as above but being able to assign individual fleet to different delivery/collection days if required

Why?: When times get very busy the fleet availability can become and issue, however when there are overlap days of fleet, internal plans can be made but there's no efficient way to change the dates of the items unless you put them on individual opportunities which completely negates the system of all of its other purposes and just becomes a inefficient fleet management software.

How does this idea help?: Since current can manage fleet, services and crew this would marry up well because it shows when and what equipment are going out on what day.

The Future of this addition
Further to this data input you will be able to potentially create "schedule" sheets reflecting what equipment and services are required on a day to day. This can be shared internally, or even shared with the end client so updates can be created as and when changes are done.

Would love some feedback on this if anyone has one. feel it would be a great addition for all

I thought you could do that, when you pick the kit, you can select the date range it uses, so you could select just the set-up day for crew, or select a single day booking in a week long event.

That said, I'm not sure if you can get a list f the kit booked for just a specific day, on a specific job.

Adam and Natasha, Can't this be achieved using Projects? You can then allocated, book out and book in equipment at different times for your different phases? I would have thought this would help with you management too, as you would be able to treat each phase as its own entity.
Matt, How do you get round using different crew on the get in and get out? We personally find entering services for when you need them to be the most effective method. If you need 2 crew for the in and 2 for the out, why can't these be added as separate services? This would free them up in the mean time. Also, being relatively specific about the times will allow them to be allocated to other opportunities either in the same day or another.
I know there is a lot of mouse clicks and repetitiveness with Current, but this seems like the best way of achieving the features it contains.

This is a big problem for us as well. We run long, complex projects with multiple load ins, load outs, install phases, etc. This would make management of that SOOOO much easier!!!

        Thanks!

We have the same problem with the crew. if we have 2 people doing a get in then going home then going back to do a get out we can't put them on any other jobs because they are booked out for the entire period. We don't want to do an item for everyday as it looks so bad on quotes and can easily become messy on upportunities

This will help tremendously on large scale projects when delivery will not all be on the same day!
