  1. Admin Security Features like restricting access by IP, Time of Day and Password Force Change or Azure AD Single Sign On Integration

    It would be good to have more options for system administrators to be able to lock down the system. At the moment there is a bit of logging for users but the system needs more functionality on this side of things. Such as logs for X amount of days that can be run off as reports.

    Being able to specify IP addresses etc for access to a specific account would help unauthorised access. Also unauthorised access attempts at the system.

    To add to this setting working hours that an account is able to login much the same as Windows Servers…

    We’ve added SSO with Google and Microsoft to Current RMS, allowing you to consolidate your security and identity management.

    With SSO, your company’s system administrator can manage your Google or Microsoft account and set security policies for it, such as enabling two factor authentication and password expiry.

    We’re looking into adding two factor authentication for Current RMS logins, too.

  2. Allow for planned transfers between opportunities

    For example.

    We own twenty lights

    Ten lights are on job A. Job A ends on Monday, de-rigs on Tuesday and is back to the warehouse on Wednesday.

    All twenty lights are needed for Job B. Job B rigs on Tuesday...

    What we do in real life is this, the warehouse preps the ten remaining lights and sends them to site on Tuesday. We also get a courier or technician to transport the ten lights from Job A to the New Job at B...

    Current shows this as a BIG CLASH and for the whole of tuesday and wednesday we…

  3. Providing the alternatives products as an option

    When you have confirmed an order you may not have a specific product available you may actually have a alternative product EG i dont have a 325kva but i can send a 500kva instead. i wish to be able to "select alterative product" and have a choice of keeping it the same rate.
    This is a critical asset for an equipment rental company

    Lock price once quoted. So allows us to makes changes to equipment but not alter the price.

  5. Custom Reports

    A reporting framework that could have a series of pre made reports such as:

    - item history
    - revenue/profit per item
    - top performing customers
    - average hire values

    And then some form of syntax/sql to allow for us to create our own custom reports from the data available. Sirportly (www.sirportly.com) does this really nicely.

    An online portal where your customers can log in, check availability then book items. For example client A who hires a small speaker and radio mic regularly would like to book it in on the 28th. They log in, check availability, book it then we get a job generated?

  9. GMail App Integration w/Discussions

    Our current CRM (Nutshell) allows us to directly log an email into it on a project or user basis via a browser extension for Google Chrome - I don't think our staff would like using the discussion board as a primary communication tool, but would definitely like to be able to use it to log communication- especially if activities could be tracked with discussions (eg, a tab on the activities panel when you complete an email activity that says something like "Select corresponding discussion" and would allow a supervisor/superior to go directly to that)
