  1. Edit multiple service start/end dates at once

    Here is the issue.

    An opportunity has been created with multiple services; lots of different technicians or local crew etc. At some point after the opportunity has been created the timings change and each service needs to be changed to reflect this, this can also happen due to simply not knowing the final times at the point of quoting. At the moment you have to edit each individual service to change the dates. Often this can be incredibly time consuming.

    It would be massively helpful if there was a way to change the dates on multiple services at once, either…

      A nice idea would be adding a deposit option to certain invoices so it would show up at the bottom of the invoice near the balance total! At the moment I am sending invoices over to clients then having to email them separatley to notify them of their deposit total.

          • Bulk Edit Feature

            It would be great to be able to bulk edit opportunities and resources by using checkboxes. Some potential uses would be
            -Merging contacts by editing the organization assigned to an opportunity
            -Re-assigning resource categories without exporting/importing
            -Adding participants or contacts to pre-existing opportunities (for instance, a new project manager is to take over multiple events)
            -"Mark as Invoiced" - as Quickbooks does not live update the status/balance of opportunities, everything currently has to be double entered
            -Mark multiple opportunities as "dead" during accounts meetings

            I am sure there are plenty of more uses, but it would be a great feature…

              We offer package deals to clients that include kit and crew as part of an all in price. It would simplify this if a Service could be added as an Accessory to a Product, such as adding an Audio Engineer to a PA hire package.

              • Assign a cost to bookable resources.

                Bookable resources can be allocated to a booked service. In many cases these resources cost the company money, whether it be labor or fuel.

                I would like for the bookable resources to have a cost associated with them so that way when I allocate them it can count against the job as an opportunity cost. Say I have 2 techs, tech A costs me $20/hr and tech B costs me $30/hr. If I was to allocate tech A in the services view, I would like his $20/hr to be deducted as a cost to the opportunity or project.

                  Okay this is a hard one to explain but here goes.

                  We use lots for almost everything; however we are struggaling with one big aspect. Say we have product A worth £50,000; now we are a medium size company with only 1 product A’s.

                  Product A is part of a kit called Rack A. Now rack A is kit containing 1 product A and lots of other hire items. This is our default situation for 90% of our hires. However a client phones wanting to rent Product A; the way we have kits set up means we can rent product…

                  • Put the customer's telephone number on the front page of each opportunity

                    Every day we have to click through to customer's records maybe dozens of times to see their phone number. It seems to me the only piece of blindingly obvious piece of information that's missing from the front page of an opportunity. I feel like it could easily be right next to the customers name under the title of the opportunity (see attached pic) and it would save us time every day:

                      It would be great if shifts would automatically finalise as the date and time goes by. Maybe even if somewhere on the dashboard there was a recently completed so someone can look over the list and see if there is anything odd before giving the final sign off for that week/month

                      • Colour highlight for opportunities

                        It would be great to be able to assign a highlight colour to an opportunity which is assigned to that opportunity on the planner as well as the opportunity tab. This would help us keep track of the types of jobs in addition to what stage they are in. See attached for an example

                          Adding a buffer or even better automated travel times (when opportunity locations are provided) would be really helpful for sending out technicians so that there is time between calls/bookings for them to travel between.

                          • Allow adding stock level when creating new product

                            When you create a product it would be much more efficient to add stock levels in the same window than having to save the product, then open a new menu to add stock levels. It makes adding lots of inventory difficult and time consuming.

                                In our store we have flightcases for nearly all of our products. We have the flightcases barcoeded so that we can keep track of them and we scan them out with jobs using the free scan. The only issue is that when using the picker to create a quote the flightcases appear as well. We don't need to see them in the picker and all they do is clutter it. You can make them not appear by having them be accessories but then you can't free scan them out on jobs. If there was a yes or no slider in…

                                  It would be great to have a customizable table view off all the opportunities in the sales pipeline and the ability to customize the deal stage itself.

                                  • We would like a 'recalculate' type button that updates ALL product information (Accessories,components,weight, price) on existing orders

                                    We would like a "recalculate all" style button that essentially recalculates/re embeds all the latest product information (with all the updated component/accessories/weights/prices) at that point in time for an existing quote/order.

                                    Background: We are currently adding on all components and accessories onto existing products already on the system.

                                    However if a quote/order has been created prior to the component/accessory being added on, then it does not include them/allow them to be scanned onto the system when preparing/booking out without physically being reentered onto the quote/order....

                                      At the moment I can't tell if an invoice has been paid until I drill into the opportunity and open the invoice. We have a lot of cash customers, and I'd like to see at a glance which customers have already paid for upcoming jobs in the job planner so I know which ones I still need to get payment from. Even in the Invoices view it doesn't show if an invoice has been paid or not until you open the invoice. I would prefer to see this on the job planner though as it would just be way easier…

                                        Currently, we often run into shortages due to jobs not being returned on time. While we are able to manage this if we are aware that the job hasn't been returtned, and we extend the job, often we end up with small jobs that slip past. This can lead to tricky issues when we expect an item to be available, but it is still out.

                                        Is it possible to have item availability be based on actual scanned/booked out assets, rather than opportunity levels?

                                          It would be nice to have an option to mark sub rentals as "to be delivered on-site". We rent gear locally a lot. It never comes to the shop.

                                          Would need to add an option on the detail page to allow us to mark gear that will be delivered on site. Having delivery dates, times, notes, driver info, etc... would also help.

                                          Like the reserved, allocated, booked out designations, we would have an "on-site delivery" designation.
