  1. Opportunity Costs Template

    As most times the subjects and suppliers and descriptions are always the same with slight variations in the actual costs, it would be great to have a button next to the Add a new opportunity costs button called Create from costs template. Having these templates will save tons of time rather than inputting each cost manually.

    • We would like a 'recalculate' type button that updates ALL product information (Accessories,components,weight, price) on existing orders

      We would like a "recalculate all" style button that essentially recalculates/re embeds all the latest product information (with all the updated component/accessories/weights/prices) at that point in time for an existing quote/order.

      Background: We are currently adding on all components and accessories onto existing products already on the system.

      However if a quote/order has been created prior to the component/accessory being added on, then it does not include them/allow them to be scanned onto the system when preparing/booking out without physically being reentered onto the quote/order....

      We think it would also be useful when cloning a previous opportunity (say a repeat…

        Please can you make it so that when an item has a mandatory accessory that it shows the "kit availability" (i.e. the number in purple) by default, without having to click "show accessories".

        • Color highlight for opportunities

          It would be great to be able to assign a highlight colour to an opportunity which is assigned to that opportunity on the planner as well as the opportunity tab. This would help us keep track of the types of jobs in addition to what stage they are in. See attached for an example

                  The list on the right side with Attributes, Actions, Print + + can be quite long. I can hide what I don't want to see but it will not 'stick'.
                  Next time all lists are expanded again.

                        When scheduling on an opportunity, have an option to clear all details if the job changes so you don't have to click on each box. When the job changes from a set delivery/pick up date to customer collecting/returning, it's a hassle to go and change each box individually and/or clear them

                          The new feature for deal pricing is very much appreciated making quotes fit the client budget much easier. We sometimes add expenses and sales in addition after the completion of the job. it would be great to be able to add these on top of the agreed deal price.

                            It would be nice to, [in Settings > Product Groups] be able to assign a sort order to any categories we create so that when we create an opportunity / quote... the categories list in a particular order. This way we can always have our primary gear on top and the less important categories lower on the quote.

                              I would like to be able to create a template which is to be cloned when creating new opportunities. The template will have Item Groups already set-up ensuring all quotes issued by my team have the same format.

                              I would also like 'Costs' to be able to be cloned. I would like to add regular project costs (examples for my business include CAD plans, warehouse prep, install / dismantle labour, freight, forklift rental, sigage).

                                This question has been asked before, and answered that a custom field will work. This sounds great but it's too long winded and a pop up box when clicking "Mark as dead" or "Mark as lost" would be great. Is there any plans to incorporate this?

                                • Highlight costs to be used once job is agreed.

                                  We often get various costs off suppliers for the same product/service when we are pricing an opportunity for our client. we then document them in the costs section of a quote. When the opportunity is agreed it would be good if we could highlight the costs that we intend to go with leaving the other costs there for future reference.

                                    It would be great to be able to bulk edit opportunities and resources by using checkboxes. Some potential uses would be
                                    -Merging contacts by editing the organization assigned to an opportunity
                                    -Re-assigning resource categories without exporting/importing
                                    -Adding participants or contacts to pre-existing opportunities (for instance, a new project manager is to take over multiple events)
                                    -"Mark as Invoiced" - as Quickbooks does not live update the status/balance of opportunities, everything currently has to be double entered
                                    -Mark multiple opportunities as "dead" during accounts meetings

                                    I am sure there are plenty of more uses, but it would be a great feature…

                                      Every day we have to click through to customer's records maybe dozens of times to see their phone number. It seems to me the only piece of blindingly obvious piece of information that's missing from the front page of an opportunity. I feel like it could easily be right next to the customers name under the title of the opportunity (see attached pic) and it would save us time every day:

                                        Revert status from completed or ability to send items to quarantine with out having to finalise check in. As sometimes need to change the number of items before invoicing and cant do this if the status is completed. If you could revert any status that would be great

                                          It would be great to have a customizable table view off all the opportunities in the sales pipeline and the ability to customize the deal stage itself.

                                            Thanks for the suggestion! A custom field against the opportunity along with custom views would be a great way of further categorizing your opportunities beyond the opportunity stages.

                                            Custom views would let you see and sort opportunities based on your custom field, but they’d not allow you to drag and drop. It’d be great to get comments and feedback from other folk on this kind of workflow.
