  1. Bulk Editing Services Within an Opportunity

    It would be very useful to be able to bulk edit the dates and chargeable days on services after they have been added to an opportunity.

    Currently, if the dates a service is needed change, the only options are to edit each line item separately or delete the line items and re-add them with the new dates.

    A great feature would be tick-boxes to select a number of services and set new start dates, end dates and chargeable days. On opportunities with multiple services, this would save a lot of editing time.

    • Edit multiple service start/end dates at once

      Here is the issue.

      An opportunity has been created with multiple services; lots of different technicians or local crew etc. At some point after the opportunity has been created the timings change and each service needs to be changed to reflect this, this can also happen due to simply not knowing the final times at the point of quoting. At the moment you have to edit each individual service to change the dates. Often this can be incredibly time consuming.

      It would be massively helpful if there was a way to change the dates on multiple services at once, either…

      • Set hours of operations

        is there a way to set operational hours and individual hours for bookable resources without making a new activity every single day? Like setting operational hours for the store so you only see 9-5 or whatever those hours are. Or setting individual availability for bookable resources like student employees? this would be very helpful.

        • Set special rates for services

          We have set prices for Delivery & Collection charges based on miles from the warehouse, however we also have some clients who are on special rates for these Services. It would be very handy and a lot easier to manage if you could set a special price against an Organisation for any Service in the same way you can against Items so that as soon as the Service is selected their special rate is brought in.
          At the moment any special rates have to be as another Service and Users then have to remember who is entitled to the special…

            We offer package deals to clients that include kit and crew as part of an all in price. It would simplify this if a Service could be added as an Accessory to a Product, such as adding an Audio Engineer to a PA hire package.

            • Filter resource planner to show orders and hide un-reserved events

              Be able to change which status of opportunities show in the resource planner. So the planner is not full of un-booked/reserved events.

              • A way to acknowledge a new job has been handed over to Operations manager in Job Planner View

                Once jobs are confirmed by Account Managers new jobs appear in job planner view in red. It would be great if the Operations Manager could indicate he is aware (accepted) and has been handed the confirmed job by a tick box which would show on the job planner view. I am currently using a workaround by editing the subject line and putting in an asterisk at the start of the subject line. This lets the Account Managers know I am now managing the rostering of crew etc at a glance by viewing the job planner view in weekly or monthly…

                  It would be great if shifts would automatically finalise as the date and time goes by. Maybe even if somewhere on the dashboard there was a recently completed so someone can look over the list and see if there is anything odd before giving the final sign off for that week/month

                    Adding a buffer or even better automated travel times (when opportunity locations are provided) would be really helpful for sending out technicians so that there is time between calls/bookings for them to travel between.

                    • Ability to auto-calculate based on %, for preceding crewing items 'totals' in the immediate group

                      We have set rates for different levels of crew, but in addition to the set rates, we quote our clients fringes & admin costs. These can't be engineered into the crew rate & need to sit separately (within the crew section but a separate line item). At the moment, it seems the only way to achieve this is a manual calculation. It would make the system much more usable of this could be a built-in calculation whereby the user nominated what % to apply to a nominated range of items 'totals'.

                        I spend hours each week in opportunities clicking back and forward between the order view, services view, and edit service item view, trying to allocate staff to the right services. If I could just see the service description in the services view, along with what group it’s nested in on the order page, it would be so much easier!

                        Along with this, please show the first line of the service descriptions in the pop up on resource planner.

                          It would be great to be able to add product accessories to services such as delivery services. This way we can have a list of tools that could automatically be assigned to certain type of delivery service.

                            Could we please have an option to split apart Services and Crew as separate transaction types.

                            Currently on the quotes all crew and transport (as a service) are put together into one sub total, it would be great if this could be split to transport and crew separately as often it 'appears' that crew are very expensive as transport is included with this.

                            It would be useful for the sub totals box to be able to have;

                            Labour

                              The resource planner is great. It would be twice as good, if you could also confirm the allocated resources by perhaps right clicking fromt he same screen.
                              When confirming freelancers for a few jobs at a time, it takes a while to go into each opportunity, go to services, go to confirm, select the right person to confirm....

                              • Add Confirmation Notifications for Scheduled Allocation

                                After creating crew shifts on an opportunity, I am able to allocate contacts to those shifts. It would be great if, as soon as I allocate the given contact to a shift, it would send a confirmation to the email on-file for that contact, giving them the details of the manual allocation. Something like:

                                  If you have setup / pack-down / pick-up etc service options that can be seen on the Dashboard timeline, that would be very helpful.
                                  If you could then itemise a calendar / timeline (for a job / day / week), print that view where you could choose what allocations you want to see, something like...

                                    Be able to allocate products directly to Service crew so that they remain with a crew member from opportunity to opportunity as opposed to having to book the product back in and out for each opportunity - i.e. we use brand ambassadors who we issue uniform and iPads to; they keep the products and take them to different opportunities.

                                      Id like greater control over Crew. We often have people doing just the in and outs of jobs but they are booked out for the entire job making them short elsewhere when they could be utilized. Id like to see when you add a service you can choose start and end times/date for each day specified in the quantity.
                                      I know you can split the down the crew into days but that is confusing and looks horrid on the quote.

                                        It would absolutely streamline a large number of Opportunities for me if it was possible to create 'packages' of services in a similar way to how you create packages of products with the 'Accessory' function.

                                        For example, we often supply live musicians from a database of freelancers as part of an event. If we had a 'package' within the Services that reflected a typical line-up of musicians, it could be added in one go, and the individual services contained within would all appear in the planner to be resourced. Much quicker than repeatedly adding "Male Vocalist", "Drummer", "Keys Player", "Sound…

                                          We have standard delivery rates for the venues that we work at most regularly. It would be nice if we could store this information in the venue file and when an opportunity is created the recommended/standard delivery rate is pulled through as an automatic item.
